Being that the title for book six was released, I spent some time on this site over the weekend. Fantastic design, layout and, most importantly, information. The team does some pretty thorough research of chats, interviews, books, etc. to confirm or deny rumours. Well worth a visit. Or more.

Did you check out JK Rowling's website? She has opened her "Do Not Disturb" door and released an excerpt from The Half Blood Prince. I would be very curious to hear your prediction as to who the person is! ~Kelli
The new defense against the dark arts teacher. They need a new one after all.
See, that is what I originally thought also; but then the devil's advocate which is my brain started working and said that that was too easy....I thought maybe a new Oclumency teacher....
It would be too easy for it to be the new teacher or the half-blood prince. But who else would be new in the story? And the Weasley cousin that almost ruined things was female.
But it is a filler, rather than a clue too. So, I'm still leaning to the new DAtDA teacher.
The only reason that I thought it may be a new Oclumency (sp?) teacher is that Snape stopped giving the lessons to Harry so maybe Jo would give him a new one. I'm still torn between the two (Oclumency and DADA teacher). Ah well.
